Site5, a worldwide leader in shared, reseller, cloud, and VPS hosting, announced 11st Oct it will begin offering hosting services in Atlanta, Ga., allowing the company to better serve a fast-growing domestic market and improve latency within portions of the United States.
The Atlanta location will offer a variety of Site5 services, including shared, reseller, and managed VPS hosting. Existing Site5 customers can move their websites or accounts to the Atlanta location for a one-time $5 fee, via the company’s Backstage customer control panel.
“We’re excited to add Atlanta to our extensive lineup of locations within the United States. Providing hosting services in Atlanta will allow our customers to better meet the traffic demands of users in the South Atlantic region of the United States by reducing latency and improving local search placement,” said Tom Sepper, Chief Operating Officer of Site5. The company has many existing customers in the region.
Today’s expansion comes on the heels of Site5’s addition of Bucharest, Romania in June as an international location. The company plans to continue to add more locations in the coming months.
